Tolstoy loversss… I am NOT AT ALL a KK fan, but it sounds like the director has the right idea. Also I’m glad Stoppard’s screenplay devotes equal time to Levin’s story.
I hope it’s so sad. It should be. To watch such a wonderful woman unravel herself.
Two ‘Downton’ actors star in it! Thomas Howes is Yashvin, according to the article. They will probably hollywood hack his part down to nothing. There’s too much in this book to be covered in a few hours.
